Indications for use: Rehabilitation after upper extremity subluxations, luxations and fractures. Rehabilitation after operations on elbow joint and forearm. Incomplete ligamentous lesions of shoulder, acromioclavicular and elbow joints. Arm support if both acute and chronic inflammatory joint diseases of upper extremity are observed. Upper extremity paresis and paralysis.

 

Features:

 

Bandage for arm support (“kerchief”) is commonly used both as an independent method of immobilization, and in combination with other upper extremity orthosis or traditional plaster casts.
Simple and effective design provides fixation and unloading action of upper extremity joints, supports elbow joint in physiologically correct position.

Helpful tips:

Only your doctor may change regimen or duration of the bandage use. Size of the bandage is chosen according to the table. The product is put on the upper extremity under the applied instruction. It is allowable to wear the bandage up to 12 hours per day, without special breaks. Before going to bed and during the day time rest it is recommended to take the bandage off.
When you take the bandage on, you should put your upper extremity into the sleeve, then the length of shoulder strap is chosen so as elbow angle would be 90°.
